Does anyone remember Love is Red?

Main Post:

I love this band, especially their first two albums. Just don't hear about them much anymore. Is there any info about why they stopped playing together?

Top Comment: One of my all time favorites. The Hardest Fight is in my top albums and one of the best of the genre. I hold it in a high regard. I only know a handful of people that think the same haha. They did put out music about 3 years ago, it's on bandcamp and they did a vinyl release. I have it, but really only listened to it a few times.

Tell me about Red

Main Post:

Of all the colors, Red is the one that I understand the least. I'd like to hear some "in your own words" experiences with the color, so that I can get a fuller understanding of it.

Top Comment: Red isn't the color of love, or anger, or even lightning. Red is the color of passion. You've met people in your life, I'm sure, who throw themselves into life. They work hard, they play hard, they live in every fleeting moment of their life, and they live for the things in life they enjoy. For people like this, freedom is vital. These are the people who struggle to hold jobs they don't care about, who get upset over small things (because it's the principal of the thing), who devote themselves to crafts, art, a skill, some aspect of their life they feel most at home in. Red characters are impulsive, reckless, and don't care much for planning. They are caring and empathic, but struggle to slow down to make those connections when emotional, which is often. Red mixes the pragmatism of black with the fellowship of white, caring for others but aware that life demands strength from us all, and denying another that chance to grow is a greater cruelty even than death. The tactics of red are straightforward, but not ineffective. There's a simple science to aggression, and no Red player believes, as others often do, that burn and aggro strategies play themselves. The strategy of Red is not simple brute force and blind luck, but efficient, effective sources of damage, too fast to be managed over time, and certainly subject to being blown out by a lucky or careful opponent. It is not chaos to see the variance of the game as a tool, to use your opponents limitations to gamble on your victory, it is risk, and risk is Red's greatest weapon. How can you know if you or another identifies with Red? Do you lose track of time while immersed in work or a hobby? Are you "disorganized" in a way that works well for you? Do you struggle with multitasking, frustrated because you have to split your attention? Do you have trouble articulating yourself and remaining calm in an argument? Do you often act before thinking through the result of that action? Red individuals tend to lean on their luck, wear their emotions on their sleeve, and often have some hobby or talent that is the focus of their time and energy. They can be eccentric, but just as often are well grounded, if excitable. Red individuals love to talk about the thier passions and interests, even if they are normally reserved and quiet. I doubt I covered everything you wanted to know, but I hope this helps.
